For a community in trauma, the Resilience Center is the place to seek help in Sderot. Individuals, families, groups of friends and colleagues seek help via our training courses and therapy packages. We also operate a hotline and conduct trauma workshops. And every time a rocket lands in Sderot we rush to the scene to provide emergency care.

Unable to meet demand, we are currently expanding the Center so we can treat more residents and also host more emergency teams from across Israel who come here to learn how to boost community resilience.

Each year, we offer therapy sessions to 300 individual residents at a cost of $1,760 per resident, help 100 families regain normality at a cost $2,200 per family, and use animal-assisted therapy to ease tensions in 50 classrooms, at a cost of $3,100 per class.
