Being a single parent usually means you are underserved and struggling to find balance and self-fulfillment. For the average single parent in Sderot, monthly expenses exceed income.

Through a specially developed program that allows a young single parent to define a career path for themselves – one that suits their abilities and fulfills their aspirations – we are finally changing the lives of single parents in Sderot – and dramatically affecting their children’s future prospects.

From us, a single parent receives professional guidance from an employment counsellor to remove barriers and set an appropriate career path, as well as vocational training and soft skills workshops. The result: these young single parents in Sderot are earning higher wages and liberating their children from poverty.

The cost of taking a single parent on this route is $2,500. We aim to help an additional 50 this year.
